Holiday camps are a major revenue opportunity for tennis academies — and a significant operational challenge without the right tools. Today we are launching camp lessons in CourtSync, purpose-built for multi-day holiday programs.
What is new
CourtSync now supports a dedicated Camp lesson type with:
- Start and end dates spanning the full camp period
- Camp day price for booking individual days
- Camp full price for purchasing the complete camp package
- A dedicated Camps area in the owner sidebar
- Violet/purple calendar accents so camp sessions stand out from term programs
Camps are standalone — they are not linked to terms. This matches how holiday programs actually run: a self-contained block of dates with its own pricing and enrollment.
Two booking options for parents
Families book camps differently. Some want the full week; others can only attend specific days. CourtSync supports both:
Book by day — parents select individual camp dates and pay the daily rate. Each day creates a separate booking row with the chosen session date.
Book full camp — parents or guardians purchase the entire camp package at the full-camp price in a single checkout.
Both options appear on your public academy page before a parent enters the booking wizard, so the choice is clear upfront.
Setting up your first camp
Creating a camp follows the same lesson creation flow with camp-specific fields:
- Go to Camps or Lessons → Create Lesson → Camp
- Enter name, description, start/end dates, and daily schedule
- Set camp day price and camp full price
- Assign coach, court, capacity, age group, and skill level
- Save and verify on your public page

Why this matters
Before this release, academies managed camps through workarounds — manual invoicing, separate booking systems, or generic private lesson entries that did not capture daily vs. package pricing. That meant extra admin, payment tracking gaps, and a confusing experience for parents or guardians.
With native camp support, everything flows through CourtSync: booking, Stripe Connect payment, attendance, cancellation notifications, and make-up credits (where applicable). Camp bookings appear in your standard Bookings list alongside term and private lesson bookings.
Make-up credit compatibility
Camp and group lesson types are cross-compatible for make-up credit redemption. A student who earns a session credit from a term group lesson absence can redeem it on a compatible camp day, and vice versa. This gives families more flexibility when rescheduling around school holidays.
Plan availability
Camp lessons are available on all CourtSync plans. Payment collection via Stripe Connect requires a Professional or Enterprise plan; Starter plan academies can manage camp bookings with manual payment collection.
